I don't know how your weather is but the Chicago weather goes from low 70's to mid 80's, so my closet is a bit of a mess right now! One day it's shorts the next day I've got a jacket on; it certainly makes blogging and getting dressed interesting. I'm not a big fan of the super cold snowy weather, so I look forward to fall staying as long as possible.
One thing I have a lot of in my closet are neutrals; it helps with mixing and matching my wardrobe and those days where you just want to throw something on. I tend to buy neutrals items with special details and I was so excited about my most recent purchase, my Kate Spade Linette Pumps. Feathers, a patent bow, a beautiful suede color and comfortable, these will definitely be worn a lot. I have a hard time buying suede shoes due to the weather here, but I broke my own rule when I saw all those feathers.
What do you guys think about them? And do you have a lot of neutrals in your closet?

ReplyDeleteI do have a lot of neutrals in my closet (including a pair of grey peep toe suede/snakeskin heels)! It helps to balance out all the bright colors I have too! :o)

ReplyDeleteI am so NOT the neutrals type of girl but there's something so seemingly effortless about a monochromatic ensemble that I lallalaallove! A little difficult for me to pull off b/c I always want to throw in a pop of color somewhere at the last minute!

i can not get over how cute your pumps are! I am definitely not missing the midwest weather. When it's hot..it's hottttt there and in the winter time..it's just wayy wayy too cold for me!!!!
