Celine Mini Luggage Tote and Style Inspirations

My lust bag for the past year has been the Celine Mini Luggage Tote; almost impossible to find I recently found one at Nordstrom's (the tricolor Spring '12) and also found out Bergdorf Goodman's has a short list for a solid version.  You would be surprised to know that my hubby is not a big fan of designer goods or their prices (most of my expensive items I purchased pre hubby), but he wanted to treat me to something nice!  I am so excited and sooo.... lovely readers, would love to know your opinion of which one I should get!

1) Beige, Burgundy trim with Salmon color suede, this bag is beautiful and much nicer in person.  I like that this bag transitions into fall well and different from all the ones out there

2) Red is my favorite color - a standpoint piece; actually veering towards this gorgeous red piece.

3) Pretty neutral gray, will be completely practical and a beautiful color, but is this too boring?

Which do you prefer?  Hopefully be styling one of these in the next month or so :)

I pulled out last year's summer dress during our heat wave last week.  Trying to figure out what to wear based on weather and my last trimester in pregnancy is proving to be a little more difficult but I'm lucky that I fit into my knits still.  Week 35 - 5 more to go; my goal is to keep blogging as much as I can while I go through this journey of having a baby.  I thank you for your support, kind words, and keeping up with me!

Two in One Lookbook

I thought I would show two ways I wore this skirt; one outfit with my fur vest and pumps and one outfit with my plaid coat and flats.  These pics were taking last week and the weather has already changed so much since then!

 

The easiest way to update your winter looks to transition into spring is by wearing colored accessories.  I'm loving our new bangle sets as well as our dangle earrings.  It adds a touch of color to my neutral outfit.

My favorite Miu Miu Flats

I don't wear flats that often but my favorite brand of flats has to be Miu Miu.  They create comfortable, feminine and glamorous shoes; my purchases have lasted for years.  Since I only have a couple of pair of flat shoes I did invest more money in them.  Bluefly has some fabulous options discounted below:

Baby Shower

This past weekend my lovely sister in laws threw me a beautiful baby shower and I thought I would share some photos from the event:

The dress is a Diane Von Furstenberg dress that I bought at a sample sale for $80!  It was a little big for me before pregnancy, but perfect for my 34 week pregnancy body.  A pic of my hubby (who took the photos from the shower) and a shot of my mother in law and I entering the shower.  

Loved the chevron blue themed party!  And the treats were incredible, everything was home made and the cupcakes were little babies in a blanket!

We got a plethora of gifts and I'm still organizing :)!  It was a beautiful shower and I feel so lucky to have a great relationship with my husband's large family.  Thank you to Melissa and Melinda for everything!

So ready for Friday!  I am excited as I'm seeing family and having another baby shower this weekend.  Working on the new t+j Designs website, blog, and trying to stay stylish while pregnant is tiring ;); ready to relax and take a break this weekend.

Last week I posted my love of mint and the love continues.  An easy outfit for this gorgeous weather we are having in Chicago.  Seriously, today is 70 degrees and typically in March we are dealing with snow or wind and the cold.  It's amazing and I am loving it.  I am officially looking like a pregnant lady these days but still trying to rock the heels.  Countdown continues - 7 weeks to go.  Been feeling a bit more tired, back hurts and nervous, but overall I feel good.  

This mint necklace is one of my favorites from our new arrivals; if you've been on the search for the perfect mint piece, this is it.

*I wasn't going to mention it, but decided to. . . blogging is an adventure and mostly positive.  It amazes me when anonymous people post negative comments.  1) Why are you reading my blog if you don't love it and 2) does it make you feel better to write something negative?  Life is too short to spread negativity.  

It doesn't happen that often when something posts something mean, but I don't understand it.  Such a waste of time and energy.  Have you guys had this experience before?
