Date night with the husband and I wore my LWD.  I have a thing for sequins as well as white apparel, especially for the summer.   Who doesn't love a little bling on a dress and wrist?

Getting ready for a big launch of items for my jewelry line t+j Designs, if you follow me on instagram (redsolesandredwine) you would of seen some sneak peaks.  Be sure to check out the launch on Wednesday (lots of layered bracelets, and pretty colored items)

MIx & Match Lookbook

IIsli Blazer (old)  |  Topshop Shell |
BCBG skirt (similar here and I want a pleated leather skirt for fall here)  |
Christian Louboutin Silver Pumps  (similar)  |  Chanel Bag  |
*don't forget about our special jewelry promotion - save up to 35% at t+j Designs

Being an avid shopper, I want to make sure the pieces I buy are versatile; I do have my go-to outfits (and lately it's been dresses), but playing in my own closet also makes me realize the endless possibilities just by mixing and matching.  Below are posts of me wearing each item before.

Last seen here                                        Post here                                 Last seen here

The item I probably get the most wear out of though is my black pleated ultra suede skirt.  In the winter time it's super cute with tights.  My next purchase is a leather one and I'm debating on splurging on this one or getting this one.

How do you mix and match in your own closet?

Loving & Coveting

Just a fun post on what I've been loving and coveting.

1.  LOVING:  Pinterest  (who isn't!) I can't seem to get enough of it, so much inspiration and pretty things to look at.  My boards are here.

This is my kind of style, all the jewels and a pretty dress.

2.  LOVING:  Something Sweet

(just bought it on sale, coming in the mail!), the dress is also on shopbop but
not on sale, it's 50% here

3.  COVETING:  These Kate Spade Polka Dot Pumps

(comes in pink, navy and black), I love polka dots and pink but the black
are such great classics you'll wear for years

4.  COVETING:  This entire outfit especially this skirt

Recently found KTRStyle.com and I'm in love with her custom made skirts!
I'm hoping she'll make this number for me!

Hope your having a great week!  The past few months have been so fantastic; with the birth of my son, my jewelry line on the Today Show, WhoWhatWear.com and the New York Post, I'm celebrating by offering the best discount to date to thank our customers and supporters.

* For those of you looking for my Elizabeth & James Feather Blazer from this post, there are still sizes here!

Stripe Love Lookbook

Asos Stripe Dress   |  Valentino Pumps  |  Celine Bag  |  J. Crew Belt  | Hermes Cuff  |
switched my necklace to Yellow Oval Dangle Necklace last minute to the party :)

I am a week late on my post as I attended the rewardStyle event last Saturday, but better late than never right?  rewardStyle threw a wonderful sushi making party for the top 25 bloggers in Chicago; it was great to catch up with bloggers I knew as well as meet some new ones, in addition, the rewardStyle team was so sweet and stylish!  I wish I had taken a group photo of all of us.

I think I've been addicted to Asos lately, I purchased this dress a couple of weeks ago and it's been perfect for the summer.  Super soft knit, big stripes, twirly skirt, and it is less the $54.  You can't beat the prices at Asos and I find the quality better than Forever 21.

The peeps in the picture are Hallie from Corals + Cognacs, Sarah from Where the Sidewalk Begins and Danielle from The Every Girl.  Blogging has given me the opportunity to meet such great people.

*If you aren't using rewardStyle yet - drop me a note and I"ll recommend you to my contact.  It's a great way to earn money as a style blogger and keep your readers in the loop on where to get what you wore.

Casual Weekend Lookbook

J. Crew Chambray Shirt  |  American Eagle Shorts  |  Chanel Sandals  |
Louis Vuitton Bag  |  t+j Designs Lucky Star Necklace (one of my favorites and under $30)  |

I'm ready for the weekend.  These two items have been staple pieces for me this summer; a chambray shirt essential to every wardrobe and these American Eagle cutoff shorts are perfect with just about every tee.  Add in some statement jewelry and your set.

I do like to dress up quite a bit, but this is my type of weekend wear.  Happy Friday!

*My dog Louis can be seen in the background and this is my in-laws pool.

Sangria Dots Lookbook

Asos Pencil Skirt w/Textured Dots (only$20 on sale! Also in gray)  |  BCBG top (old)  |
Christian Louboutin slingbacks  |  Zara Clutch  |  Hermes Bracelet  |

Polka dots are one of those prints that never go out of style.  I keep up with many blogs and will have to say it is a dangerous hobby; when I see someone wearing something I like I feel the urge to buy it.  Recently spotted was this fabulous skirt I'm wearing on Patience; on sale and for less than $20 it was a must have.  Loving this purchase so much I went back to purchase the grey one which will be great for the fall.  Asos is now offering an extra 10% off on sale with code10sale so even better!

I wore this to an event introducing me to Jouer Cosmetics (launching in Nordstroms soon!).  I received some samples and not only am I in love with how it is packaged, the textures and colors are so pretty.

Jouer made it easy to travel with all your makeup as the items slide within each other and create one package (as seen in the picture) but if you are heading for a night out and have a small clutch, you can easily slide out just your powder and lip gloss.  Love any products that make my life easier and prettier.

**I was not paid for this post - Jouer appreciates bloggers and invited us to a fabulous breakfast to introduce us to the brand.  I took pictures and guess what they turned out terrible (as my husband is the main photographer of my blog I'm not great with our camera :)

Feather & Sequins Lookbook

Elizabeth and James Blazer (on sale, get it now!), also here in size 0 |
t+j Designs Silver Hammered Bangle Set (best seller, gold sold out)  |

I wore this outfit to my Mark Shale event and I have to admit, this is probably one of my favorite outfits.  The feathers , the sequins, and the black and white combination. .  . I love it all.  I've been obsessing over this blazer forever and took the plunge, but this week it went on sale (of course after I just wore it :).  Impractical in color and of course the feathers need tender care, but I couldn't resist.

The event went well and here is a glimpse of a form I styled and my co host Ana from Chi-Style Maven.  The lighting in the store isn't great for pics so sorry for the limited pictures.

It's been a super busy week with work, my t+j Designs jewelry feature on WhoWhatWear.com, 3 blogger events including this one, and taking care of my little one.  Hoping I get to take a little break next week.

Barbwire Lookbook

Parker Dress  |  Christian Louboutin Pumps (similar)  |  Celine Tote

In this summer heat my main staple when heading out are strappy dresses.  They are cool enough to wear while sitting outside and easy to layer up if you are a bit colder at night.  Although I love finding deals at Forever 21, Zara and H&M, once in a while I splurge a little more on dresses that are well made, in silk and have a bit more construction.  I was turned onto Parker a while back and love their designs.  Easy, fashionable and priced reasonably compared to other contemporary brands.

My Parker Dress is sold out at most places but here and runs a little smaller; I typically wear a XS or S and in this dress I purchased a medium (is well fitted on top and love the exposed zipper in the back).
I'm also loving these three and recently purchased #1.

1}  Tank Dress (sequins and leather beading, I love mine!)
2}  Wrap Dress  (in my favorite color and so easy to wear everyday)
3} Cami Dress (50% off and love the elastic waist, helps with fluctuating weight)

Happy Friday everyone!  I'm really enjoying this summer and hope you are too.

t+j Designs has weekend specials that start every Friday - sign up for our email updates here.  This weekend - select heart styles are 50% off!!  And if you loved our highlighter necklace that was featured in WhoWhatWear.com, be sure to get yours now as inventory is getting low.

Breezy Lookbook

Alice + Olivia Dress (worn as top)  |  Forever 21 Skirt  |  Zara Sequin Clutch  |
Christian Louboutin Espadrilles  |  t+j Designs jewelry  |

Some of my favorite things in this outfit - polka dots, pink and sequins.  We survived the over 100 degree weather and it's finally in the bearable 80's.  I typically don't wear maxi dresses in the hot weather; I love the look but the heat stays within the leg area making it a bit hot.  But I'm loving the sheer and flowy maxi skirts available which make it a perfect breathable option.  The one I'm wearing is affordable, comfy and adorable.

Having a busy week, but excited to host my event at Mark Shale on Thursday.  If you are in Chicago, come to 900 Michigan Avenue (7/12 between 5-7pm) for some yummy drinks, fashion and fun.
