Head to Toe J. Crew

Coat:  J. Crew (similar same color)
Top: J. Crew
Denim:  Rag & Bone
Pumps:  J. Crew (sold out but these are great classic cap toes)

Short post today as my little one has a cold and an ear infection (poor guy).  With him at home with me this week, I feel a bit swamped.

My head to toe look from J. Crew (besides my jeans) were all sale pieces!  I love their styles and especially their color palette each season.  If your like me, you stalk the sales for pieces you love and of course when they do additional 40% off you can't help but buy something.  The coat I'm wearing was around $80 from $350.  If you've been reading my blog for a while you know I love this fuchsia color they sell.  I'm stalking this striped top and this skirt next.

What else is on sale?  All sale on t+j Designs jewelry is additional 30% off this week.  Use code 30SALE at checkout. A bunch of stuff is below $20!  Shop here.

Be sure to check out our pretty new arrivals.

I was recently home in Seattle and my sister and I took some photos together with the talented Jen, who also has a blog here.   We realized in the 1.5 years of working together we barely had any pictures together.  Although we both have a blogs with tons of pictures, family time was spent talking business or eating!  We finally scheduled some time together to put together a fun lookbook of some of our new arrivals.

I love these photos (thank you Jen); it is amazing to work with my sister everyday.  Last week we were interviewed by Tasha of Imperfect Concepts, she had some great questions for the two of us.  If you want to know a bit more about us, our business, and what's in our bags, take a look at our interview here.

Happy Monday and thanks for reading/supporting me.

Silver Sequins

Blazer:  Gift from my sis (similar here and here, both on sale)
Tee:  Zara (similar, only $10)
Leather Leggings:  alice + olivia
Shoes:  Christian Louboutin (love this new Louboutin glitter one!)
Bag:  Chanel
Jewelry:  18K White Gold Pave Link Bracelet  |  Gunmetal Cluster Bracelet  |
Pave Star Necklace  |  Pave Heart Necklace

I just can't resist a bit of sequins and crystals.  My sister knows me too well when gifting this blazer to me.  It's sold out but the two I found on sale are pretty much the same (similar here and here).  Just last week we had beautiful 40 degree weather and this week it dropped to 0.  Yes, I wrote 0 (zero).  It's a struggle to layer up and look fashionable; lately I've been sitting at home with a cozy sweater and some denim.

As seen on yesterday's post, I'm thinking about cute little V-day gifts to give.  Don't forget to head over to my jewelry line t+j Designs Facebook page to get 25% off the delicates collection!

These stacked and love rings I instagrammed (redsolesandredwine) would be 25% off!  Only way to get the code is to like our page!

The perfect casual outfit?  A pair of boyfriend jeans, a heart sweater, a pair of pointy heels and some cute jewels.

One thing I love to do for V-day - send a little love to my friends.  This year some of the jewels I shared above will sure to be gifted.  Little tidbit - get 25% off the jewels in the delicates collection (#7-#11 shown above included) by liking my t+j designs Facebook page.

I'll be hosting my own luxe giveaway soon, don't forget to keep up with me (and sometimes you get sneak peaks on new jewelry) with my Red Soles and Red Wine Facebook page.

Sweater:  Forever 21
Shirt:  Joseph (old) (similar here)
Jeans:  Rag & Bone
Shoes:  Christian Louboutin
Love Ring (one of my favorite things!)  |
iPhone 5 case (which everyone keeps asking me about)

I went casual with my favorite stripe top and my cozy Mr. Rogers sweater find from Forever 21.  Piling on the details with my resin bib necklace, leopard bag, bow bracelet and my favorite love ring.  With this winter chill I'm trying not to look like I'm freezing, but overall I'm pretty happy with the fact that there hasn't been a snowstorm.

The past two months have been crazy busy and I have to do a shout out to my intern Shannon who has been doing an unbelievable job with helping me and t+j.  She took these photos for me (it was her first time taking blog photos) and aren't they are excellent?  Check out our t+j blog if you haven't already; Shannon's sharing trends, award season dresses and bloggers wearing our jewelry.  Loving her spring trends post and her Style It series.  Thank you so much Shannon!

Black & White

My go to outfit which is simple & easy  - blazer, blouse & leather leggings (easily replaced with denim).

Blazer:  Escada (similar here)
Top:  Chelsea Flowers (similar here)
Leather Leggings:  Alice + Olivia (similar budget on sale)
Shoes:  Miu Miu (these Miu Miu's on sale are fab)
Bag:  Chanel
Sunglasses:  Escada
t+j Designs jewelry:  Pendant Black Ribbon Necklace  |

I'm inspired by the black and white trends I'm seeing for spring.  Simple, chic, and even more glam with jewelry.  There's something so clean and fashionable about a black and white ensemble.  Looking at these street style photos, I'll be emulating these looks.

I know graphic black and white prints are also trending, but these outfits above are great solid pieces I have in my closet.  You loving this trend also?

Glam Gold Louboutin

Fur Jacket:  Nordstrom's (almost got this budget one similar)
Top:  Tibi (old)
Skirt:  Asos
Bag:  Celine
Shoes:  Christian Louboutin
t+j designs jewelry:  Leopard bracelet  |

My whole look was inspired by my new Louboutins that I got on sale at the Oak Street store.  I was beyond excited when I hit a wall of sale at the newly open Christian Louboutin store in Chicago.  These shoes were love at first site - gold glitter, pointy toes, a black bow and on sale.  Inspired by my shoes I chose the rest of my outfit.

I spent last weekend in Seattle with my family catching up on business and life, eating lots of food, and viewing all our new jewelry.  It has been amazing seeing designs and ideas come to life.  This new collection of delicates we launched are perfect everyday pieces that layer up well.  I've been wearing a combo of this heart, star, and love necklace everyday.  Perfect gifts too for Valentine's day (hint at the BF or husband) or friends.

Hoping your having a great week and keeping warm.  It's definitely gotten cooler.

Feeling Blues

{1}     {2}     {3}     {4}     {5}     {6}     {7}     {8}

I am loving this bright blue color for spring; from touches of pretty accessories to the sequin jacket which I would pair with the pretty draped skirt, this color is a nice pop with any neutral.

These are fantastic street style photos which inspire me to dress head to toe in this beautiful blue color.

And how pretty is this? Blue & Chanel the perfect combination

Are you loving this new hue?

Double Take

Trench:  Zara (old)
(love this budget version and get an addtl 10% off with code PERFECT10)
Sweater:  Zara (current)
Skirt:  Tibi (love this one too on sale, budget version on sale here)
t+j Designs jewelry:  Gold Pave Bracelet  |  Red Pave Bracelet  |

Doing double duty on both red and leopard.  Recently got this Alexander Wang bag, love that it's leopard and that I can throw everything in easily.  Can't get enough of leopard in my closet.  It is one of those prints that last through trends and when you find a good one you can wear it over and over again.  I've had this Zara jacket for 3 years or so.  Mixed with my favorite color red, I think I found one of my favorite outfits this season.

Don't forget about my fabulous jewelry giveaway!  Like the t+j designs Facebook here and see the giveaway editorial for details.   Happy week!

Smiling - January

I thought I would did a fun post of what's given me motivation and smiles this month.

A guest of mine at the Escada event did this awesome recap video, check it out below.  Erik (the one who put it together) is taking a break from school but wants to get into films.  I love what he did with this short clip and hopefully partner with him on other projects!

A small picture recap from the professional photographer

It was a honor and pleasure to work with Escada and meet my readers and supporters.

My son has been giggling up a storm.  It is the best thing ever, if you want to bring a smile to your face watch this:

Back to outfit post  tomorrow, but these both videos show what brings me joy these days.  My son and how supportive my readers and customers have been.

Bag:  Zara
Shoes:  Christian Louboutin (similar)
t+j Designs jewelry:  Pave link necklace  |  Pave Link Bracelet  |

I have so much to look forward to in the next couple of weeks.  Heading home to Seattle to spend time with my family since we stayed here for the holidays, my sister and I are headed to NY during fashion week to work on some business and see some shows and we got a slew of exciting designs to launch at t+j designs.  I thought this month would be a little slower, but we've got big plans to make 2013 bigger.

January is one of those months where winter hits but spring designs come out.  What has me super excited are the bold colors and pastels seen for spring (I'm ready to buy spring clothes)!  My sister and I are always looking ahead since we have to stay current for our jewelry line and I am excited about the new items we have launched as well as what we have in store.   This week we've got a great Facebook giveaway for my jewelry line.  10 winners will be chosen to win one of our Pretty Baubles necklace (winner's choice on color).  Enter here!

*sale alert J. Crew is offering an additional 30% of sale, use code STYLEFIND.  On my list?  This sequin sweater , cashmere polka dot sweater, and this coat is a great classic for an additional 30% off!

Lucite Home Items

Many of you who follow me on instagram or Facebook have seen my latest home purchase, my lucite trunk.  I received a lot of questions on where I purchased it so I thought I would do a post about lucite furniture and where to find them.

I purchased it here; the trunk is custom made so it does take 4-6 weeks but so worth it!  The company has a ton of lucite items which I love but this trunk was something I was coveting for a while.

I've shared my home a couple times on the blog with the most recent post in CS Interiors here.  I love our front room lucite console but when we were decorating our house there weren't any available at stores so we got it custom made.  Here is my front room below.

Now you can purchase it here for much less!

Looking to organize your jewelry (I always am) these trays are as low as $5.99!  Find them here.  They stack well and the clear look is great in finding things easily.

I am a sucker for monogrammed home stuff and love this serving tray for parties or just a decorate piece on my coffee table (with some lovely candles).  Find the tray, pitcher and glasses here.

My ultimate dream is to have an office space with a lucite desk and I'm in love with this one with mirrored drawers!  It would be so glamorous with an upholstered chair, a great chevron or furry rug.

How pretty are these inspirational photos?  I love to peruse interior design blogs and get ideas for my home.  It's amazing the number of ideas I can find now off pinterest and google.

An all white room with lucite and mirrors is a dream room however not practical now that I have a little one, but I still love to think one day I'll have a room like this :).

I can not say enough how much I love my lucite trunk.  In searching around for lucite items the price is very reasonable.  Do you love lucite as much as I do?
