Dressed in Black - Two outfits

Simply said, black is the easiest go-to for any outfit, but I like to do black with a side a bling. My sister knows me all too well and got me this gorgeous cold shoulder embellished sweater in the first photo for Christmas.  The second outfit, my sequin cape, is one of my favorite items I designed and currently on sale at T&J Designs!

Black Sequin Cape (also in gold

I've been wearing black more often this season and paired with a good pair of black denim, it definitely makes me feel slimmer and less guilty about all those extra calories from the holidays.  I ate, drank and ate, drank . .  . my resolutions? I really don't make any and trying to tell myself I'll work out is something I know I'll fail at.  So for now, I've focused on being healthier, emotionally and physically and being aware of what looks good on me helps hide the extra LBs.

My cold shoulder sweater looks great with leather leggings too and I'm wearing a size 4.  The black sequin cape is the perfect night jacket that you don't take off when you sit for dinner.

Happy almost weekend and stay warm and cozy. (Coats at 30% off until Sunday)
