Monday: All About Color Lookbook

We were in San Francisco for the weekend, I love it and miss it.  We stayed near Union Square, ate at some of our favorite spots, saw good friends and went shopping around the area.  One our first day out I wore one of my favorite outfits, my preppy green top and fuchsia pink skirt from Zara.   I am loving the spring/summer line Zara has in store right now.

My hubby and I 🙂

What I am wearing:
Leather Jacket: June
Top and Skirt:  Zara
Shoes:  Gucci
Purse:  Chanel

I only brought one coat to SF and you’ll see my June leather jacket often as I think it is a great staple to go over any top or dress.  Two essentials for every closet is a fitted black blazer and a black leather jacket; they are the best layering pieces, go with everything from separates to dresses and are easy to pack when traveling.

Where to find my outfit (unfortunately Zara does not sell online but they currently have this collection in store):

Zara Leather Jacket

Loving this leather jacket and it is half the price I paid for my June jacket

Zara top

Zara Mini Skirt

I adore the color combination of pink and green, but if you are afraid of too much color, each item is perfectly paired with something neutral.  The skirt would look great with a white silk tank and a black blazer.  The top is easily wearable with denim and some chunky jewelry.

Zara is one of my favorite places to shop, they do an incredible job staying on trend with designers and magazines, and although more expensive than H&M, their quality and fit is much better.  The top and skirt are less than $60 each.  If you don’t have a Zara in your city, the best option would be calling a friend who does have one and beg her to pick up the items you love to send to you :).

Sad to leave San Francisco, but great to see good friends and eat delicious food.  I lived here for over 8 years and hope one day I’ll move back.  Any questions about San Francisco, feel free to email me!

Happy Monday!
