Happy 4th!  Today’s look is vintage and red, white and blue inspired.  I purchased my dress at least 10 years ago from the ABS store and my Christian Dior Saddle Bag 8 years ago.  I typically clean out my closet twice a year, but I keep items that I feel are classic stylish pieces.  Polka dots are a timeless print and I love the hourglass shape of the dress.  Due to the vintagey feel of the dress I paired it with large deco earrings and my vintage glass crystal bracelet.  My shoes are Christian Louboutin’s, when I saw them they reminded me of my favorite mary janes when I was younger.  The piping and bow make them sweet, but the 4 inch heel gives me great height.

Bloomingdale’s Aqua Polka Dot Dress

This Bloomie’s dress is on sale for $42.24!  The ruffles add great detail and the elastic waist makes the dress super comfy.  I would not pair it with nylons and black pumps; some great sandals and gold bracelets would make it more stylish for the summer.  If you like the vintage polka dot look, Tahari has this cute sheath and Forever 21 has this polka dot number for less than $20.

Christian Louboutin Fishnet Bow Slingback

I love these slingbacks!  Neutral in color but the fishinet, bow, and piping details make it a standout shoe.    These pretty heels would go with so many outfits, from dresses to a pair of skinny jeans, they add a sweet touch to any outfit.  Of course these are pricey, but these Pour La Victoire slingbacks are a mid priced option and these L.A.M.B. shoes are hot.

Expression NYC clutch from Nordstrom

I love the color combination of red and navy and this clutch is the perfect accent color to the polka dot dress.  Affordable at $58, the clutch has a great basketweave satin texture topped with a sparkling gem.  If you want a less evening bag look, Tory Burch has this wristlet with gold emblem that would complement the look well.

Diana Warner Chandelier Earrings

My earrings were purchased from Henri Bendel a couple of years ago, but these Diana Warner Earrings are gorgeous and would add a touch of glamour to the outfit.  If you aren’t a gold girl, these Carolee Lux Pave Pear Earrings  are a pretty and classic option.

Happy 4th of July!  Hope everyone is enjoying their three day weekend with their family and friends.
