My husband and I love exploring new restaurants and one of our favorites chefs, Takashi opened a new ramen place, Slurping Turtle, in Chicago and we checked it out last week.  We typically get the ramen but the bento boxes looked delicious and my hubby and I shared one along with some other delicious appetizers.

Surprisingly our weather in Chicago hasn’t been too cold (yet) and between the pregnancy and weather, sometimes I struggle to figure out what to wear.  I saw my Forever 21 maxi skirt I purchased this summer and decided I wanted to wear it.  The easiest way to transition a summer skirt into fall/winter is by pairing it with a cozy sweater and some great boots.  My lovely gloves were a present for my birthday from my sister in law.  Not only are they are a great color and design, but they work on my iphone!  They have little tips on the finger that make it workable on touch phones.

I’ve been doing my fair share of holiday shopping, but I can’t seem to get away from items I want myself.    Shopbop is having their end of season sale and I had to take a look!  Red is my favorite color and I’ve been in a search of a red dress for the holidays.  I’m loving these three on SALE!:

Tara Pleated Dress  |  DKNY Whisperweight Cowl Neck Dress  |  Rory Beca Ralph Wrap Dress

And the perfect jewels to go with the red dresses:

t+j Designs jewels:  Gold Edge Bangle  |  Gold Rhinestone Bow Bangle  |  Black Pyramid Bracelet  |

Gold Drop Luxe Earrings   |  Gold Tassel Earrings    |  Black Drop Luxe Earrings  |

Take part of our t+j Designs holiday promotion:

How are you guys doing with holiday shopping?

Such a fun lighter look for the colder weather! Its too easy to get stuck in the dark color rut…so this look is so refreshing and you look gorgeous as always!BTW, the hubby and I just flew back from Chicago and the weather was warmer there than what we are having here in Denver! A nice change :-)XO – MarionPS – love the style showcase here with the jewelry! So tempting…:-)

you love so lovely Jen. I was about 5M pregnant this time of the year last year and loved it. It's actually so much better to be pregnant in the fall/winter then summer, since in the summer time, it's too hot and you'll uncomfortable.
