Twisted Silver and Gold Bangle

A couple of my blogger friends and I were together and we discussed how personal or non personal our own blogs as well as others were.  It got me thinking, how much do I share or what do people who read my blog care to know?  I try hard to stay positive, share my styling looks, what I love, and honestly feel very lucky to have great positive readers/customers.  But I do have bad days.  I’m a type A person; I stress and have anxiety about things.  With the baby due in 9 weeks, I’ve been a bit stressed about how to keep up my blog, shooting photos of looks (it’s hard with a tummy and feeling unmotivated), manage my time for my jewelry business and what will I do once the baby is here?  At times I feel overwhelmed, but I try to take it one step at time (after some meltdowns).  Whether or not I’ll be able to do it all and be a stay at home mom we will have to see.  I hope my readers will continue to stay with me as I go through this journey of figuring everything out in the next three months.

I think today’s just one of those days, but my goal is to continue sharing what I love up until the baby arrives.  Your positive comments, looking at the number of page views I receive, and seeing t+j Designs grow since we’ve launched in mid August is rewarding and amazing.  I can’t thank you enough.

For 2 days only we are offering these beautiful bangles as a set for over 50% off, $100 for all three (originally $204).

In my opinion, I always enjoy a little personal touch on blogs. People shouldn't rear away from their blogs' essence, but giving them personality makes blogs that much more attractive.I cannot wait until your baby's arrival either. By the way, if you have any questions about being a stay at home mom (and part-time freelancer and blogger), you can always shoot me an email. I am certain you will make the best decision (for your child).Seattle Beauty and Fashion Blog – Girlie Blog Seattle

Love the rebecca minkoff mac mini. As a mommy of 2 (2 year old and 1 month old) and a small business owner who has another full time job, i'll tell you it's hard to find the balance between work and family. But it is totally worth it. From what I see, it seems you have a great support system, so lean on them and you'll succeed. I have an awesome husband who helps with everything. I also have awesome parents and in-laws who help whenever we need. Love reading your blog. Keep it coming as time permits and enjoy your new yummy baby in 9 weeks.

Jen, all any of us can ask is that we do the best we can! If it helps, you look stunning and I literally could never tell you were pregnant. I love your sweater, and that beanie is so fun — what a great pop of color! One of my all-time favorite looks of yours, for sure.xo Josie

I love the personal stuff in everyone's blogs and it's nice to read people's good times, and even tough times. We're all human right? And I CANNOT believe you are due in 9 weeks! You can't even tell in these pics! I think it's also important to take a step back and take a break when you need it! Hopefully you will still keep us updated but as your due date approaches and the baby arrives, we'll understand if you need offline time!xx Vivian @ http://diamondsandtulle.blogspot.com

9 weeks?! I can't believe how soon that is for you. You know my take on things – we're all human and there's a difference between being "mean" and being "honest". I like honesty…mean would just make me run in the other direction.

Pregnancy was such an emotional rollercoaster for me! you have your good days and you have your bad, but when it's bad, it's badddd! hehe I remember I would cry if my husband didn't do the dishes or if he didn't paint the nursery! Just take it one step at a time, your readers would support you no matter what. I think I blogged less once K was born because the first couple weeks was pretty stressful being a new parent. I worried a lot and I had horrible dreams but everything will be ok 🙂

Jen, I will always be here for you girl. We all have good and bad days. Sometimes in blogging you have to step back, cut back or take it slower. I'm realizing all bloggers are A Type personalities. HAHAHA You will definitely be busy with the baby. Do what is best for you, the little one and your hubby! I envision your blog to be more personal after the baby arrives. Whatever changes you make I'll always be a reader. ((HUG))
