My husband planned the loveliest Mother’s day; he made us breakfast in the morning and we had a delicious lunch at Sunda. It was a special first Mother’s day and to add to the wonderful day I got to spend it with my parent’s who are still visiting.
I’m slowly getting back my body but pregnancy does something to your joints, waist and boobs. I’ll be honest – I don’t know if my body will ever “look” the same as before, but I’m accepting the changes the best I can. I am aware at how lucky I am that I naturally have a thinner body and a faster metabolism, but I am still a girl. I want to fit back into my clothes and be “cute and stylish”. Recovering and feeling great again takes a bit of time, but I am so in love with little Grant that it’s all something well worth it. My bottom half has responded quickly to post pregnancy but my top half still is a bit heavier with breast feeding and feeling still slightly swollen. Clothing, accessories and knowing how to dress definitely helps with pregnancy, post pregnancy, and feeling good. You should see my closet right now, a bit of a mess as I try on three things or more before deciding what to wear. I have recently purchased some great spring/summer items; my passion for shopping motivates me to get into shape and will be sharing my looks here :).
The supportive comments help lift me up and the continued success of my jewelry line, and spending time with my family makes me feel so grateful and happy.
Still working off and on, launched some new jewelry this week; loving the modern classic collection.
