An easy black and white outfit with items you’ve seen me wear.  These days I am struggling with balance – work, life, being a mom, wife and friend.  I try hard to give everything I do 110% and some weeks are harder than some and this was one of them.  Blogging is a great outlet for me; I love styling clothes and accessories and my readers are so encouraging with comments but sometimes it’s a bit harder to get motivated.  My lists grow longer and I always manage to get everything done, but my time to relax gets sacrificed.  I’m working on balance, enjoying my family time as much as possible, and hopefully having less meltdowns :).

Yesterday was my little one’s first day at daycare.  I was a bit sad all day.  The peace and quite to do work seemed strange and I missed him.  Overall, I think it will be great for him socially and it is only 2 days a week, but it was the first time I’ve been away from him this long.  Who would have known I’d be a sappy mommy.

*My sister and I are celebrating our one year anniversary of being in business with a friends and family 25% off everything promotion at t+j Designs.  Thank you for all the support and love you’ve given us!  Use code TJFF during checkout for the discount.

One of my favorite colors to wear. Very clean and classic. Awwww your little one is soooooooooo cute! It's okay, he will enjoy day care. I also plan to take my daughter to preschool one or two times a week to stimulate her socially. I am also super sad.Beauty and Fashion in Seattle | Cheap Makeup Reviews

Love the classic combination! He's so adorable. It's hard for me to leave for work everyday, so I definitely empathize with you on having to drop him off at daycare. Well, anyway, cute look! » » » http://astyleinprogress.com

I think I've said it before but I am so jealous of your gorgeous hair. Baby G is getting so big. I had a hard time leaving my first one at day care too but you'll get used to it. I am looking forward to my longer maternity leave this time though. Enjoy the rest of your week!

I think having a blog is such a great way to express yourself creatively and get away from all the responsibilities you have to do as a mom. I think it was really hard for me the first 6 weeks but once I went back to work, it wasnt so bad. Hang in there it will get better! so far you are a super mom! Baby Grant is getting really big and looking more and more like daddy!
