Supporting two talented designers in my outfit today: Yumi Kim and Aminah Abdul Jillil. Lately I’ve been meeting with talented women that own their own business and also supporting them by wearing and shopping their designs.
The bow pumps that everyone loved in this post and the flat sandals in today’s outfit are from Aminah.

It is extremely important to me that I support other talented entrepreneurs, not just women but really anyone that takes the step to go out there and work their butt off. If you have any interesting shops or designers, feel free to leave me a comment below and I’ll check it out! It is amazing to find a designer or store when it first launches and to see it grow.
One of the biggest learnings I’ve had through running t+j Designs is to focus on the positive and ignore the negativity. There are always those that tell me my job is a hobby or what I do is easier than a “standard” job or those who may take gifted items from us and never support us, but I realize that the success I’ve had is due to our great customers and focusing on the positive. Blogging and business is full of BS but it’s filtering through what really matters. As I mentioned in my last post, I stress out a lot and lately I’m just trying to process it all and figure out what’s worth worrying about.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend if it starts early (lucky guys who have the rest of the week off). I know there a ton of sales out there, but if you have been loving my jewelry – this is the last week for 30% off all sale and you get a free gift when you spend $50 or more. Shop here.
