Winter Sequins

I’m a sequin girl and the hardest part about this cold winter is figuring out how to adjust my style to it. Layering up seems to be key however I can’t seem to get into wearing tights.  I kind of hate them and wear them out of desperation.  Any tips let me know, maybe it is a brand you like, how you wear them?!

My sequin maxi skirts did so well that we designed two additional styles in our signature sequin fabric.  Check out our new arrivals (pencil and skater skirt style).  As I said in my last post I wanted to add some classic pieces in my wardrobe and this cashmere turtleneck was a recent purchase on sale.  It matched perfectly to my pencil skirt and I found some other classic cashmere sweaters on sale.

Gunmetal Sequin Pencil Skirt (new arrivals!)     |

Christian Louboutin Booties (budget similar)     |  Sunglasses $7

These are 40% off and all cashmere:

I got this cashmere V-neck sweater in the prettiest light heather gray color.

I’m thinking about this crew neck version as I loved the v-neck.

The cashmere turtleneck I’m wearing in this post looks great with skirts and denim.

This budget cashmere sweater comes in 12 colors.

It seems to have worked out not purchasing too much winter gear early, the sales are good!

Are you following NYFW?  I’m loving the street style photos and I thought the Kate Spade Presentation was so adorable.  Instagram is definitely the place to catch up quickly, I’ve been glued to my phone.  How about you?

Being a sequin girl myself, I love this skirt! Such a great length & style. Wish I had some recommendations on the tights front – I wear them a lot myself, but have a love/hate relationship with them. Check out DKNY's version – they are pretty comfortable and tend to do well overall!ChelseaHaute Child in the City

I'm impressed that you can manage bare legs and no tights in the Chicago cold. I can barely go without tights during the very mild California winters. Clearly I have gone very soft!Jemily Life

I need to buy tights one size too big to feel comfortable enough in them, because I don't like it when they are too low and start slipping down easily 😉 I don't know what causes them to be incommodious for you though…
