Cape Coat & My Favorite Japanese Restaurants in Chicago

The warmer weather has definitely brought a spring into everyone’s step.  There were so many people out and about this weekend!  Since I have kids, we didn’t do the whole crazy St Patrick’s thing but we did go out for a date night and enjoy a long walk with our kids to the park.

If you are in Chicago, love Japanese food, you definitely have to check out . . .

Juno.  The sushi was so delicious and atmosphere was pretty relaxed.  I love Japanese food and so far my favorites in Chicago have been Kai Zan and Momotaro and now on top is Juno.  Momotaro is the most sceney so go there if you want a great atmosphere, drinks and a cooler crowd.  The other two is all about the food.  I’ve been lucky to live on the west coat and NY so my search for great sushi in the midwest has been successfully met with these three favorites.

I love the warmer weather we’ve been experiencing!  Whenever my wardrobe switches into a new season I feel inspired.  I look for inspiration in designing for holiday and I change up my look.  The easiest everyday outfit lately?  Layering an easy jacket or this cape over one of my graphic tees paired with denim.  My latest denim obsession are these I’m wearing in this post.  The stretch, the fabric and the rips are perfect.  I also purchased them in white.  How are you feeling as your weather transitions into Spring?  Isn’t it great to step out and not have slush at your feet?

It's been a long time and this place still has the best meal I've had in years. I never knew there were so many different kinds of divine items at Boston restaurants to try. We came with son and friend. A good time was had by all. I highly recommend them.
