The Only Dress You Need and About me

I love dresses and getting dressed up.  I find every excuse in the book to wear a dress to lunch, dinner, event, date night, and of course to a wedding.  This blue print dress is the perfect dress for all these occasions.  It’s girly, so pretty and comfortable.

I write a lot about style so I thought I would share 5 insights/facts about me to change it up a bit.

I’m headed to LA and Mexico this month and I’ll be bringing this with me for sure.  If you have any questions about styling or size, ask me!  I am wearing a medium, I’m usually a size 4 and the dress runs small.

5 Facts About Me:

#1 I am not a morning person.  I really struggle in getting up and I can’t go to sleep at night.  Once 10pm hits, I’m wide awake and working.  Like right now while writing this post.  I stare at my phone at night and check email often.  It is also a bad habit that keeps me up and than mornings are TERRIBLE.

#2  I have small feet for my size and skinny legs that don’t really gain weight.  I wear a size 6 which makes it a difficult feat to walk away from any shoe as pretty much shoes on the shopping floor all fit me.  Once I slip it on I want it.  I rarely have to ask for sizes as I can tell if I like it since I can put on the sample size! Shopping online now has reduced my shoe purchases šŸ™‚ thank goodness for my budget.  My Skinny legs, I’ve talked about this on instagram.  When I was younger I was called chicken legs and made fun of for my sticks.  It is now an asset I believe as people believe I’m tinier than I am because my legs are skinny.  I know, I know great problems to have.  But when I was a kid, I was embarrassed about my weight and legs and wore baggy clothes.

#3 I’m deathly afraid of spiders and all bugs. I scream, I breathe hard and I RUN.  I would rather hold a python, swim with sharks (I’ve done both), or clean a toilet than be near any spider or bugs.

#4 I LOVE FOOD. To the point where I decide on what I want and we travel all over the city and have to go specified restaurants for that type of food because I love food so much.  My kids are turning out the same.  I could eat out everyday if I could.  I love a good taco bell run to a great tasting menu.

#5 I HATE when people ask me if I want to have another baby, a baby girl, because I have two boys.  I think it’s such an intimate question and strangers ask it all the time.  My boys are healthy, fun, cute and the answer is really only for me and my husband to know.  I just think it’s a rude question as it means you SHOULD want to have another.  Man, if you have babies, you know it’s hard work.  I’m just settling in to the toddler years at my house.

So there you go, tidbits about me!

And yes I really do love the dress I’m wearing in this post – it’s fabulous and flows with the wind. Take the plunge and also check out the other dresses in my line.
