If you live in a colder climate like Chicago (in the winter), you know a FANTASTIC winter boot is a MUST HAVE. I was recently introduced to Kamik and I love their selection and price points. These two cute and comfy boots will not only keep me going through the winter, but I love the touches of design with the shearling on one and the plaid on the other.
See how I paired it for a cozy chic look, which can help you feel cute even when it snows or rains. These three steps detailed below can help you get a chic look for the winter!
Coats and Sweater from T&J Designs
The three steps in looking cute for winter:
- Shoes really are the starting ground as if you are heading out, you need to be warm, comfortable, and safe walking around, but to me having cute shoes is everything too. These Kamik Boots are really awesome and so many styles to choose from for a great price. My first few years of living in Chicago, I tried to wear knee high boots and other comfy wear but I had a few falls and finally dived into looking at snow boots. Game Changer!
- Let’s talk outerwear! Invest in one awesome, fabulous coat like the ones I wore above and you’ll survive all winter feeling warm and looking cute. Don’t buy 5 different inexpensive coats, dive into 1 key piece that you can wear year after year.
- Sweaters are so stylish these days and many are a great price. I love a good neutral sweater (shown above) that I can wear with leggings, jeans, leather pants. I look for a good length that covers my butt and some cute detail (the sweater I have above has braided details on one side)
Stick to those three things and you’ll for sure be warm, cozy and chic. I’m not ready for winter but my closet is with this cute boots.
