I share a ton on my instagram and guilty as always, not enough on here. So I wanted to share 7 outfits I love and a little update about me.
I just got back from Mexico on a wonderful trip to Mazatlan – I hope to pull together a post next week on where we went and my biggest recommendations! Thank you to to the Tourism Board of Mexico and Mazatlan for having us, definite highlight of 2017.
It was a great break for me. I purely shared on social media, but didn’t do work work on my computer. I’m super guilty these days of being on my laptop or phone too much. How do you disengage entirely from media?
Life feels hectic, but I’m grateful for all the opportunities that come my way. This past year or so has been a year of reflection and thinking positive.
Family, friends, fashion, events, and a positive attitude is getting me through each day. And on the days I have my kids, I try hard to enjoy every single moment. They crack me up and if you watch my instastories, you can see them make faces and man they give me attitude. 4 and 5 year old boys have a lot on their mind!
Sharing things I love to lift me up and hope it inspires you to do the same for yourself.
5 things that lift me up!
#1 Dinner and dancing with friends. I know this is hard to do for some mommas, but just take that one night and plan ahead, even if it just dinner. Or invite your friends over for pizza one night. Dine and wine and catch up. Laughing and listening are the two best things.
#2 Getting my hair done! Getting a new haircut, new color, or even a blowout feels good. I actaully don’t get my haircut or colored that often, but every time I do, I love it!
#3 Calling an old friend. You know that friend you haven’t to spoken in a while? The best friends who will always catch up even if it has been months. Those are the BEST phone calls. Catching up, listening, and connecting together.
#4 Watching a favorite movie! My favorites are girly films. My top 3 favorites, Clueless, How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, and the Sex & the City Movie. These have been on repeat the past few months. They make me laugh, feel lighter, and really anything Sex & the City is a favorite. The fashion and the girl talks make me happy!
(my 5 year old son took these photos!!)
#5 A good glass of wine or champagne and watching Vanderpump Rules or the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Call me crazy but watching their drama makes me laugh out loud (especially Vanderpump Rules) and I like to dream about owning Lisa Vanderpump’s house.
What do you do to lift yourself up?
