The Best Jackets For Spring below! Subscribe to my blog here.
Spring is here (kind of :)! With the transitioning weather, jackets are my go to repeatedly. I was looking at my closet and what I wore often to layer. You just never know with this weather, high 70’s one minute and than 50’s at night, so having a jacket in tow is a definite must. These are the three best jackets for spring:
#1 Leather moto jacket (the one I’m wearing above is from my friend’s line, Christina Karin. I adore her and I have two of her covet moto jackets!
#2 My green cargo jacket (the pins are detachable and I’ve shown photos below, scroll down) is less than $50 (use code NEWYEAR50 to get 50% off) I wear it a ton and love it!.
#3 A classic denim jacket. You can not go wrong with this style. A classic denim jacket goes with everything and I love it with a spring dress.
The easy outfit I wear all the time is a cami and a great pair of denim shorts (I’ve linked different lengths) and my nude sandals. When running around with my kids I go for a pair of sneakers.
Jackets provide not only some warmth if it gets chillier at night, it also changes up your outfit. I’m wearing the exact things in both shots, I just changed up the jacket.
You can’t go wrong with these three essential (best) spring jackets. You’ll wear them forever, I have moto jackets and a denim jacket I’ve owned for ten years! They don’t go out of style.
In reference to denim shorts, my favorite for the past two years are One Teaspoon shorts as well as Blank NYC Denim.
This green cargo jacket has been in my closet since Fall. I love the length, details, and the styling is still great for Spring.
If you don’t own one of the three, it is time to update your wardrobe with one! All three go well with dresses, denim and skirts too.
Other accessories: Sunglasses MVMT (code redsolesandredwine15 to get $15 off)
Nude Sandals (similar here and here)
I love seeing the flowers bloom in my neighborhood, eating outside, and feeling the sun on my face. The past week we’ve had some stormy weather, but I look forward to spring being consistently here.
Next up – sharing some coffee shops I’m loving in Chicago!

Don’t like the second jacket but the first one is beautiful 🙂
