Ladies, mamas, friends! The ONLY cooking tip you need is here! I am so excited to partner with Home Chef to announce that you can now try these kits at home by picking them up at your local Mariano’s!! I picked up the Pork Banh Mi Bowl kit and cooked it with my boys. Check out all the details below and our video of our experience.   I list out why I love Home Chef and I can’t tell you enough how much I love their food. I’m not a good cook and I’ve learned so much in making these meals!

Home Chef does just that! I went in, picked up two kits and left. EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR THE RECIPE is inside the kit.  Brilliant and so delicious.  We’ve now tried three different recipes and my boys and I eat every bite.

Look for these fridges that have the kits – each week the menu changes so you can come back for different meals.

My boys love to eat and cook with me and these kits are easy enough to have them help (watch the video, it’s amazing that my 4-year-old is the chef in the house).

Everything you need is inside; the recipe, sauces, meat, rice and is already measured out! You just follow the directions and 30 minutes later the meal is done. I’m a huge foodie, so the taste is everything for me  and each kit we’ve had is so delicious. I’m not kidding you that they truly make cooking easy. My kids eat it all and they love good food just like me.

My kids are nibblers – I couldn’t keep the cucumbers away from them. This recipe had a yummy cucumber and carrot salad that went on top of the pork.

Voila! So tasty and yummy. The pork over the rice and the fresh pickled vegetables were AMAZING. All done within 30 minutes!!  You have to watch the video (less than 1 minute) for the whole experience.

Why I love Home Chef and now that they are at Mariano’s:

  1. Pick up and go with everything you need. No need to roam around for each part of the recipe, no need to measure, no need to be at the grocery store for more than 5 minutes!
  2. Different recipes every week so that you can have a variety of dishes and try new things
  3. My sons are 6 and 4. If they can help me cook, think of how easy it is! My 4 year old loves to help me out. These days I find it hard to spend enough time with them and cooking with each other is such great bonding time.
  4. The time to cook is around 30 minutes for each recipe.  It’s not too long, they are all easy to do, and it’s a home cooked meal in less time than sitting at a restaurant.
  5. Priced at around $9 or less a serving, it’s less than buying all the ingredients at the market!
  6. I’m not a good cook and every kit I’ve tried comes out delicious! If you watched my video, it is kid approved (they are the hard critics).
  7. I don’t meal plan and eat out way too much. These have made my life easier and eating from home with two kids is a game changer.
  8. I love that I can just buy one and lower my costs for the week instead of buying all these groceries which I end up tossing at times because it took me too long to make one meal.
  9. Fresh food vs fast food.
  10. I have learned some skills in trying the recipes that have helped me cook other things!
