Life has been a whirlwind and June and so far July has been epic months! So I’m behind but wanted to do a little June recap before jumping into my Greece post. As you probably know I traveled last week and my last blog post was so well received I waited for a little before doing this.
The photo above and below were from New York in the beginning of June. I went there to have some brand meetings and who can resist a trip to the big apple. I love it so much and miss the days when I lived there.
Two must do’s if you have the budget, drinks at the Bacarrat Bar/Hotel and dinner at Le CouCou (my favorite). Hoping to head back in September for fashion week – when I do I will do a must do’s list!
Who doesn’t love a good luxury pop up? This LV pop up is in the West Loop on Aberdeen and Randolph and I believe it just ended (was for the month of June). I love my neighborhood which is full a buzz now that summer is finally here.
I headed to Vegas and stayed at the fabulous Four Seasons Las Vegas the weekend after NY. I loved the feel of the hotel and definitely want to stay there again. You feel relaxed, pampered and then when you want all the hoopla you can walk to the attached Mandalay Bay!
This Las Vegas sign wasn’t hard to get to (take a cab, they know where it is) and the line wasn’t so bad. Get there early to shoot as the heat is HOTTTT!

Pool time and being extra as always. Similar skirt here
Four Seasons Las Vegas treated us to a cabana and we were well nourished and pampered.
My exact dress here.
So this is the crazy thing, I am a HUGE Jennifer Lopez fan and so are my friends. We had decided months ago we would go to her Birthday concert in San Francisco. She changed the date to Las Vegas so back to Vegas I was the next weekend!~
The photo above was at Catch the restaurant – it’s gorgeous inside and very instagrammable. It is in the Aria hotel.
Obviously I didn’t get the black memo :)! Jen, David, and Francesco were a blast to be with for the weekend.
Can she look more epic? The concert was the best I’ve been to. She is stunning and her dancing/performance skills are on fire.
We ended up the Vegas trip at Red Rocks which I’ve been meaning to visit forever. If you have the time, it’s worth the trip right outside of the strip. Probably 30 minutes out.
I was invited out for the Vital Proteins Collagen Water launch (where they partnered with By Fashionaholic). I love Morgan Stewart (from E! and Rich Kids of Beverly Hills) and met her at the event. I love her style and my friend that blogs at Big Blonde Hair covers her fashion often (as I love all her clothes)
This yummy food is one of my favorite restaurants, Gibsons Italia. It’s listed on my blog post here as a must go to in Chicago. The below is their deck which is open for the season! I’m headed there for lunch again soon.
Another fabulous event I attended was Levato Salon’s Mystics and Mom’s event featuring Meghan King Edmonds from Real Housewives of the OC and Mystic Michaela. I love Ashley (above right) who owns the salon and she personally did my hair extensions (see my hair extension review here.) She is always so kind in inviting me and I got to meet both Meghan and Michaela.
Meghan was kind, open, honest, strong, and an all-around great person. I loved meeting her and hearing her speak. She’s had recent issues and was open and honest about all of it. Love when realness happens.
So there you go peeps – June was full of memories – there was more but these were the highlights!!
