I show my dining room quite frequently on my Instagram stories and realized I never did a full blog post of my dining space with links to all the fabulous pieces in it! I’ve had a few furniture items for years and found dupes of them for so much less AND a few things I bought for my condo went on sale! See a full tour below, shopping links, and little backstories of my older pieces. I’m a glam girl so this is infused in my home with velvet touches, marble pieces, and gold accents.

So my dining table is something I’ve had in my life for 15 years or so . . . it came from a breakup in my 20’s when I lived with someone and I’ve kept it through all my moves. San Francisco, New York to Chicago, and now it’s in my condo. We spent a pretty good amount and I still love it, back then there were no duplicates, but now there is a ton that is affordable and achieves the same look (as seen above in the shopping scroll). It is a classic table that won’t go out of style! It fits perfectly in my space and what I love about it is you can style it so many ways (super modern/contemporary/glam/traditional). Change up the chairs and you’ll have a different look.
My dining chairs were purchased for my first home with my ex. French silk velvet upholstered antique dining chairs. These aren’t sold anywhere as they were found by an interior designer, but pretty pink velvet chairs that I suggested above would be glam as well.
My chandelier was an item Hannah (the interior designer I worked with for my bedroom and my living room/dining room) found for me based on a photo and now it’s on major sale. Annoying for me but great for you!! It is literally 50% off what I paid. I love the gold with the glass crystal ware.
I had this sliver of a wall where I put my acrylic trunk and LOVE poster – I thought it was a nice backdrop for my dining table. The acrylic trunk was purchased years ago for my home and custom made, however I was able to find great dupes!
This is the overall look of the space. The faux cowhide rug has metallic spots which I love. I’ve also linked my counter stools which I get comments on as well!
My plates and kitchen ware is on a full blog post Style Your Home Like a Designer with MacKenzie-Childs
My bar cart sits on the other side of the wall and has my favorite alcohol and bar pieces.
I love my space overall! My office and boys’ bedroom are the only spaces left that I’m attempting to decorate. As I continue, I’ll keep sharing where I get things! Here are my top items to achieve this look below:
