Apres Ski Style: What to wear in Aspen
(Inspiration Photo Sources: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6)
I just got back from Aspen and in prepping for the trip, I put together a few outfits inspired by Apres Ski Style. Keeping warm and looking stylish was my main goal and based on the feedback on my Instagram, you guys loved it. The hardest part is keeping it affordable so I’ll attempt to link different price points below for you guys. I shopped around a lot and wanted to keep it at a certain budget myself. So hopefully you guys love the range in items I selected!
This was one of my favorite outfits from the trip for a night out. The moon boots were so comfortable and I ended up wearing them everywhere. Below were five things that I wore a lot that I would definitely buy for a ski or Aspen adventure. Style yourself by layering up and with textures and you’ll be Après Ski Style ready!
My all-time favorite brand for ski stuff is this one here; I just need a bigger budget but the items are amazing.
{1} Boots: the right footwear:
Moon boots are reasonably priced and my gosh, the most comfortable shoe! My feet were warm the whole time and I walked everywhere in Aspen with them. They feel like slippers!! And if you go for a color like black or white, they match everything. I linked a bunch of other options so scroll through to see some great boots that are perfect for Après ski style.
{2} Fur details – especially in outerwear, gloves, and hats
So this was me preplanning my outfits and I layered most of them with fur! I’ll link some great shopping options below and going faux fur is so easy these days.
Fur options for layering:
{3} Stylish puffer coat
My main outfit for skiing and an easy outfit to transition into Après ski time!
Here are some puffers and outerwear I love at different price points:
{4} Snowsuit or ski pants:
These were harder to find; I tend to like the more luxurious ones but didn’t want to spend the money on them. So I wore fitted Colmar pants which I’ll link below. I think if I ski more, I would splurge on the fitted snowsuits, but I found some more affordable ones that look really cute. If I decide to go on another trip, I’ll buy one of these!
{5} Sweaters, sweaters, sweaters!
Cozy sweaters with fun patterns, ski writing, layered under fur/coats are much needed in winter weather. I linked my favorites and items I wore on my trip. This outfit was one of my favorites but I wore it with tights in Aspen with a furry hat.
Shop my sweater and other favorites below. Scroll for a bunch of options.
After traveling to Aspen, I’m inspired to go back. Not only did I love the city, but I really missed skiing. I had a blast skiing both Snowmass and Buttermilk. I hope to get back soon! Stay warm and stylish friends!
