I recently attended Houston’s cook-off and Rodeo for the first time and really wanted to get into the rodeo theme of things! You guys know I love glam style and so my goal was to create outfits out of items that I could wear again but added touches of bling, fringe, and cowboy hats/boots to swing into Rodeo mode. Here are 7 outfits I wore with additional suggestions on western outfits for Houston/Texas/Nashville style. Most of the items are affordable and can be worn for other occasions.
{1} Sweater Dress with a Fringe Jacket
This sweater dress is a recent purchase and wasn’t supposed to be part of my rodeo outfits, but It was surprisingly cold so I pulled it out to wear (instead of the sequin dresses I had) and added a black fringe jacket (this jacket matches everything for a rodeo theme), and added my crystal boots. I wore these boots for 5 hours!
{2} Chambray Denim Dress with White Boots
This dress is amazing! Flowy, so cute, and soo comfortable! I definitely recommend this dress and you can wear it all through summer with flats as well. The rhinestone boots I got are from Shop Akira.
{3} Crystals and denim for the win
Once again dressing up an item I purchased for regular wear (denim skirt) and mixed it with a crystal top, my Neon Cowboy light-up hat, and a crystal fringe denim jacket.
{4} Denim, corset, and rodeo details
The little details with the necklace, boots, and fringe jacket make it western. The corset is a top I’ve worn out and to a festival before.
{5} Tinsel fringe fun!
This look is so fun and perfect for a bachelorette getaway or a fun rodeo/western-inspired party. As you can see from the outfits I wear a lot of the same accessories.
{6} Fringe and crystals for the ultimate rodeo glam look!
Probably my favorite outfit as you can wear the dress for other things and the crystal boots glam it up even more.
